Implementing eduroam

This hands-on course takes participants through how eduroam operates at both a basic technical level, but also at a support level. Hands-on experience in labs is provided, showing how a RADIUS server can be configured for eduroam (both for home and for visited usage), examining the RADIUS proxy traffic and changing the contents of proxied messages. Implementing Shibboleth

The course will provide a number of discussions and hands-on labs centred around the installation and configuration of a Shibboleth 3 identity provider. It will move on to centre around the installation and configuration of a Shibboleth 2 service provider; along with guidance and practical experience of integrating this with a web application's access control mechanism this installation will then be tested against a reference Shibboleth 3 identity provider.
