Register to use Access Grid and become part of the UK Access Grid (AG) community. You will receive support and services dedicated to the improvement of all types of Access Grid in the UK.
For more information on registering as a user, or to register an Access Grid Node, please visit the Register with Us page. AG sessions can be booked by going to the JANET Access Grid Booking Service.

The AG Booking Service can be used to arrange multi-site sessions, to reserve physical rooms, facilities or virtual spaces and to co-ordinate Quality Assurance (QA) sessions. The Booking Service will also allow bookings between Access Grid and H.323 endpoints (e.g. JVCS registered users of JANET) so your AG meeting can join a videoconference without the requirement for any other specialised equipment.

• Facilitates booking of Access Grid nodes and checking availability
• Automatic assigning of a shared UK virtual venue for the session
• Automated e-mail system for sharing meeting / session details (presentation URL's, virtual venue, contact telephone numbers, encryption keys, etc)
• Encourages users to schedule pre-session testing and set-up time
• Provides a search facility for accessing information about other nodes, e.g. seating capacity, availability of induction loops, etc.
