Collaborative Tools for Teaching: AGSC Demonstrations

The Access Grid Support Centre aims to hold demonstrations at least once a month. These can either take place at the University of Manchester, or can be arranged to take place at your institution if you prefer.  The aim of these events is to introduce new audiences to the collaborative technologies used and supported by the AGSC, and the services that are available to you, the user. Participants will have the opportunity to try the tools in a ‘hands-on’ session. The day also provides us with the opportunity to find out what functionality you require and expect from a collaborative tool, and what issues you have previously encountered in this area.

AGSC E-mail List

The agsc-sites e-mail list is used to keep you up-to-date with the latest AGSC activities. This includes service outages, weekly open sessions, Access Grid events, and other topics related to Access Grid in the UK. The volume of mail on this list is about one or two e-mails per week in general. We also recommend subscribing to global Access Grid mailing lists that deal with general technical aspects as well as global AG events, although the volume on these lists is quite high.
