Getting Started

Before getting Access Grid it is important that an implementation plan is put together taking into consideration organisational requirements. Budget, space and anticpated uses of the Access Grid will all determine what kind of node implementation can be put in place.

There are three main types of nodes and variations of each type depending on requirements.

1) Desktop Node - meets the needs of a very small budget - desk sized - is useful for one person to participate in a meeting or to meet one on one with another AG user.

2) Office Node - can be bought with a small to medium budget - desk sized or larger depending on how the equipment is set up and the number of people - can accommodate 1 to 4 people wanting to be involved in a session.

3) Room Node - takes a large budget purchase the necessary equipment to set the node up correctly - needs a whole room for the permenant setup - can accommodate 1 - however many people can comfortably fit in the room and ideally be within camera range.

If you would like to see an Access Grid room node in action then please contact us and we will try and arrange a demonstration at an Access Grid near you.
