Newcastle- Life Conference Centre
The Life centre is a self-contained conference centre in the heart of Newcastle and situated next to the train station. We make use of the Jenner and McClintock rooms situated in the LIFE Bioscience Centre, a working office building home to bioscience-related businesses with conference suites on two floors in the central, glass fronted area of the building.

On arrival you will need to report to the main reception of the LIFE Bioscience Centre. We use both the Jenner and McClintock rooms, please follow the signs to the “JANET Training Course” or ask a member of staff for directions.
Travelling By Car
Life is situated a few minutes drive from the A1 (M), the main route between the UK capital cities of London and Edinburgh. There are over 400 secure car parking spaces available at Times Square Car Park
Travelling By Train
The venue is located just 200 yards away from Newcastle’s Central Railway Station which has passenger rail connections to all of the UK’s main cities and towns. The Metro underground system also runs through this station with trains running every few minutes to areas of Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead South Tyneside and Sunderland.
Travelling By Bus
There are several bus services to and around the city of Newcastle. The closest bus stop to the venue can be located at the train station.
Travelling By Plane
Newcastle International airport is 6 miles from the city centre, and directly accessible by the Metro system to Central Station. The airport has connecting and scheduled flights to most of the UK and international airports. Alternatively a taxi will take around 15 minutes and cost approx £15.
