Birmingham -  The Studio

The Studio is located in the centre of Birmingham and provides a modern and unusual environment for our courses. The rooms are named after moods and senses. We make use of their 'Inspire' and 'Relax' areas.

The Studio is located about 50 yards up Cannon Street (from New Street) on the right (or 50 yards down from House of Fraser on the left). You'll see The Studio and an internet cafe on the ground floor. Take the lift to the second floor for meetings and events.

Travelling By Car

From the North via M6
Leave the M6 at Jct 6, then join A38(M) motorway. Continue forward onto A38 entering Birmingham. Go through St Chads Queensway underpass then branch left and merge onto A38. At Paradise Circus roundabout take the 1st exit and then the first left onto Brunel Street. Turn left again onto Navigation Street and cross over the traffic lights. Turn left onto Pinfold Street and right onto Stephenson Street and follow it round to re-join Navigation Street. The entrance to the Pallasades NCP car park is opposite.

From London and the South East via M1 & M6
Leave the M1 7 miles past the Watford Gap service area. Join the M6 motorway, and leave at jct 6.
Follow the directions in the From the North via M6 section.

From London and the South East via M40
Exit M40 at Jct 3A and take the M42, exiting at Jct 3. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A435and follow for approx. 8 miles, via Kings Heath and Moseley until it ends at Haden Circus roundabout. Take the 1st exit onto A4540 and continue for approx. half a mile. At traffic lights turn right onto Bristol Street. Branch left then merge onto A38 up to Paradise Circus roundabout. Take the 1st exit and then the first left onto Brunel Street. Turn left again onto Navigation Street and cross over the traffic lights. Turn left onto Pinfold Street and right onto Stephenson Street and follow it round to re-join Navigation Street. The entrance to the Pallasades NCP car park is opposite.

From the south west via M5 and A456 (Hagley Road)
Leave the M5 at junction 3, and at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A456. After 7 miles, at Five Ways roundabout take the underpass leading to Broad Street and Birmingham City Centre. Half a mile along Broad Street you will pass Symphony Hall and the Birmingham Wheel on your left. At the end of Broad Street is Paradise Circus roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, then the first left onto Brunel Street. Turn left again onto Navigation Street and cross over the traffic lights. Turn left onto Pinfold Street and right onto Stephenson Street and follow it round to re-join Navigation Street. The entrance to the Pallasades NCP car park is opposite.

Disabled Parking
The closest disabled parking spot is on Waterloo Street which is just around the corner from Cannon Street. Delegates would need an Orange or Blue Badge.

Travelling By Train

Birmingham New Street Station is the nearest main-line station. Direct services arrive here from all parts of the UK.

To walk to The Studio from Birmingham New Street Station:
On leaving the platforms onto the main concourse, take the escalators opposite up to the Pallasades Shopping Centre. At the top of the escalators turn left and head towards Foot Locker. Turn left again and immediately right (HMV will be on your right, Holland & Barrett on your left). Proceed towards the exit and at the bottom of the ramp turn left onto New Street towards the glass tourist information centre. The next turning on the right is Cannon Street.

Travelling By Plane

There are regular international and domestic flights to Birmingham International Airport, one of the UK's largest. Frequent trains run from Birmingham International rail station to Birmingham New Street. The journey time is 15 minutes.
