Janet Training run a series of online briefings, offering updates on technologies and services. These are free to attend and run in Adobe connect. All that is required is a browser running flash and headphones or speakers.

For colleges interested in offering staff and students access to resources on the move, eduroam might be the answer. eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating organisations to obtain internet access accross campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop. This briefing will provide an introduction to eduroam, the benefits for the site, and sources of support. Representatives from Canterbury College will be sharing their experiences of deploying eduroam. |
