Security Services (SLA J8) [more information]The primary focus of JANET CSIRT continues to be concentrating on coping with the high level of Conficker infections and re-infections across all JANET-connected sites. The steady increase over the first quarter of this period appears to have flattened, due mainly to the efforts of the team and their work with JANET security contacts. The usual levels of scanning for vulnerabilities in poorly configured and protected systems continue and this quarter has seen a higher than usual level of activity in scanning for open proxies. Copyright infringement complaints are still prevalent but not in as large numbers as they have been recently. |
