About the service
The JANET News Reader Service complements the existing JANET News Feed Service. It is provided for the benefit of JANET customer organisations that wish to give their end users access to Usenet News but do not want to operate a News server of any kind.

The service is free of charge to institutions with a Primary JANET connection. However, this service is designed for use by organisations with small News reading requirements.

It is expected that a reader organisation will prepare their own instructions, conditions and advice for end users.
