Aims – Building the Infrastructure for Innovation

Research and Education, as with the rest of the public sector is facing huge pressures. Changing finances, changing customer expectations, and changing technologies are all forcing new ways of working. Many of these efficiency gains and new working models depend on network enabled solutions and JANET, as a leading shared service for over 25 years, is key to delivering this future vision. This briefing day will provide an insight into future developments in the provision of JANET services to the UK's education, learning and research community.

Audience

This event will benefit anyone with an interest in the further development of JANET and its services, including senior management, directors of computing and information services and other senior personnel involved in the delivery of ICT services. Please note that this event is only open to delegates from JANET primary connected sites and is not open to delegates from commercial companies.
