PCDL Bandwidth Upgrade Costs* - Effective From 01.08.08

A number of Local Authorities have been connected to JANET to support their local Adult and Community Learning Organisations. These connections have been made at 4Mbit/s. The following table shows the additional costs if a Local Authority wants to update their bandwidth or use the link for non acl traffic.

All queries regarding additional connections or changes to existing connections must be discussed with the JANET Service Desk.

Please note that you will be charged the access line installation and annual rental costs (which we pass on directly) in addition to the tariff charges below.

Organisations should be aware that telecommunications suppliers will take a minimum of 120 working days to install a connection once the order is placed with them.

Each tariff is charged annually and is shown exclusive of VAT.
