Factsheets:
- WEP, WPA or Other? (pdf) - a short factsheet detailing the vulnerabilities in WEP and explaining why we recommend that WEP is not utilised.
- Rogue Wireless Suppression (pdf) - what are the potential problems (and legal implications) of automating rogue access point disabling techniques?
- Guest and Public Network Access (pdf) - highlights the difference between guests (those with legitimate education-related reasons to be on your site) and the public (people who might be on your campus only coincidentally, using rights of way or visiting museums, cafes etc.), and explores the practical and legal implications of offering network access to these groups.
