UK federation service development
Federated access management technologies are evolving rapidly. To ensure that we continue to enhance the functionality of the UK federation, JANET(UK) have produced a roadmap, highlighting the principal areas of development that we intend to focus on.
The roadmap (available here in pdf format) has been produced in collaboration with JISC, Becta, experts and users from the education and research communities and experts in the area of Federated access management, including vendors providing federation-related products and services.
**UK federation regional events **
A series of regional events will be held around the UK providing an opportunity for delegates to discuss the challenges they anticipate, discuss options, aid their understanding and gain guidance for next steps. Following the success of the event held in Brighton on 29th April we are pleased to announce the next event will be held in Leeds on 28th October.
