Shibboleth On Windows®
The purpose of the JANET Shibboleth on Windows project was to test and develop an automated Shibboleth IdP installation for a Windows Active Directory environment. The aim was to encourage users with Windows 2003 server and Active Directory to participate in the UK federation by simplifying the installation of the Shibboleth IdP software. The project is now complete and the Installer proved to be a success. Most of the sites involved in the test have working IdP’s although some of them are not yet live. Overall comments showed the sites were happy to participate in the project and were pleased with the outcome.
