Roaming at TNC
I recently attending the TERENA Network Conference in Malaga, Spain.
The conference was extremely successful, having a strong programme of parallel sessions that was supplemented with useful side-meetings on matters of common interest to NRENs.
The highlight of the conference was a presentation delivered by Tomasz Wolniewicz (PSNC, Poland) entitled Identify Management of Users in Eduroam. The structure and delivery of his argument was superb, working gradually and logically from a clear description of a rather subtle problem - and hitherto considered practically insoluble - towards a conclusion describing his solution that was hard to refute.
I happened to strongly oppose the conclusion that he was proposing before I attended the presentation, but his presentation changed my mind.
