Networkshop Rapid Fire session

JANET(UK)’s annual event, Networkshop will take place on 12th April to 14th April 2011 at the University of Hertfordshire. The event is aimed at network managers and technical staff within the JANET community. The format of the event consists of plenary and parallel session on various technical subject areas ranging from engineering to applications.

On the morning of Thursday 14th April 2011, JANET(UK) will be dedicating one parallel session to “Hints, Tips, Secrets and Innovative Ideas” as shared by the community. During this session there will be a maximum of 7 presentations with each presentation lasting 10 minutes. The idea of this session is to open the floor to the community to present any hints, tips, secrets and/or innovative ideas they’d like to share on ANY aspect of networking. Your idea could be adopted by the audience back on their home campus network, so grab your moment of fame!

The format of the presentation will be:

- A 10 minute presentation (with no time to overrun!).
- If you plan to use slides, then the following rules apply: a maximum of 20 slides with 30 seconds per slide, managed by Powerpoint’s automatic slide advance feature.
- Slides can have as little/much content and information as you like, including text/images/video (it’s your show).
