Supply of Web Hosting Services

Request for Information

In response to the requirements of the JANET community, JANET(UK) is seeking to re-procure the JANET Web Hosting Service late in 2010 and wishes to survey the current market to ensure that JANET(UK) bases the new service on the most appropriate solution to meet the needs of its customers. The service provides a web hosting facility for UK educational and research organisations connected to the JANET network.

The information obtained from this Request for Information (RFI) will be used by JANET(UK) to build an understanding regarding the current provision of web hosting solutions from commercial suppliers.

Suppliers wishing to respond to this Request for Information should read the RFI document carefully and follow the guidance for responding in sections 3 and 4.

The RFI document is available electronically as a Word file and an Adobe PDF file.

JANET(UK) would like responses to this RFI by 12 noon on 14th May 2010.
